I felt so lucky to be able to see such a beautiful place in my lifetime. This is such a wonderful place to see.

Mathieu is the owner of a French restaurant in Guangzhou and a client of Ada's. She brought me along to celebrate his birthday in an expat bar called B-BOSS. The live reggae band was totally hot and they pulled Mathieu and his girlfriend on stage to sing.

Did you know that Jade carvings are polished with bamboo? I didn't.

Nana celebrated her birthday a little early since I was leaving China the next day. We had dinner at a very nice Thai restaurant. Ada and Nana ordered some spicey dishes much to the chagrin of Thomas and I.

Later, Ada unveiled a blueberry coated ice cream cake which Nana had some trouble cutting.

If you want to have any hope of getting anywhere on time in Beijing then you must take the subway. Hopefully you don't have any problem with people crowding your personal space.
